Amla Candy: Making process


Amla is a translucent green fruit, which can help you to protect yourself against countless ailments.
Though it is recommended to eat amla directly but a few of us can’t handle the taste of amla, if you
are also one of them then don’t be anxious, there are a number of amla dishes available in the market
 that tastes sweet and salty, so you can easily intake amla. Amla chutney, amla juice, and amla candy
 and many other dishes are available in the market, but we will tell you the easiest process of making
 the amla candy that can be easily stored for one year. So, without killing your precious time let us

start the process of amla candy.

Ingredient
Amla 1kg
Sugar 500 to 700g (according to your taste)

Process

1. The first step is to clean the amla with fresh water.

2. Put enough water in a vessel to boil so that the amla can be immersed in it.

3. Put amla in boiling water and after boiling, let the amla boil for 2 minutes, turn off the gas flame
and keep these amlas covered for 5 minutes. Do not put the amla in cold water.

4. Now, Put the amlas in the sieve or strainer, remove the water, after cooling, cut them with the help
of a knife and separate them, and discard the seeds or kernels.

5.After doing all the above steps, fill this amla bud in a big vessel and fill sugar over it. You will
have to put that vessel overnight with the same condition. (If you want to add 500 sugar then fill 450
sugar over amla and make the remaining 50 grams of sugar (half cup) powder for further process.)

6. On the next day, you will see that all the sugar syrup has been made, amla pieces are floating in that syrup. You stir this syrup with a spoon and keep it covered.

7. After 2-3 days the pieces of amla are not going to sit in the bottom of the pot instead of floating in
the syrup. Sugar has been filled in amla and they have gone heavy under the bottom.

8. Now filter the syrup from the sieve and separate the pieces of amla in the strainer, completely remove the syrup from the amla then put these pieces in a plate and dry it in the sun.

9. In the send, take that remaining 50g sugar powder in these dried amla pieces. Take this Amla Candy is ready, keep this candy in the container and eat 6-7 pieces daily, it is good in taste and has great benefits for your health.
